On Repeat... My New Favorite Zara Sweater

After wearing this sweater for most of last weekend with jeans and boots (last seen HERE), I still couldn't bring myself to change out of it when Monday came. The obvious skirt to pair with a sweater of this size and volume is a little mini, but I prefer the mod-ness of a slim pencil in a textured tweed. You kind of have to embrace a no-waisted straight silhouette and instead emphasize legs and neck with sky high heel and a simple bun. A little half tuck of the sweater helped to give the volume a little definition also. I love this look because it feels grown-up and classy, but fresh and unexpected. And I love how my trusted J Crew 'Edie' drives home to subtle retro-ness of the ensemble.
