Color Blocking with Basics

And again with the adjacent colors! Can you tell I like green and blue? There's nothing muted about cobalt and vintage green - we're working with PURE COLOR!
Do you find color blocking to be intimidating? Well, this is an easy look to achieve. Notice what I'm wearing when you strip away the color - white t-shirt, blue jeans, and a classic B&W houndstooth moto jacket. They practically beg to be paired with color! I match a cobalt scarf with cobalt shoes and then throw on an equally bright hobo bag in vintage green. I always wear a red lip, but you can see how that little extra color looks like a deliberate addition to this crayola sundae of an outfit.
