Burgundy Plaid, Burgundy Saddle Bag

Having a large selection of neutral pieces in my wardrobe makes dressing really easy because everything works together. 'Matching' and outfit gets really easy when everything you own 'goes'. So, when I bring color into my clothing is a very deliberate and mothodical practice. Each season I identify a single 'signature' color to wear and then focus efforts on creating a collection featuring it. For Fall/Winter 2015 I've chosen this luscious BURGUNDY. 

The shirt is from Forever 21 and it's quickly becomming one of my favorites. I usually buy shirts cut for 'talls', but this one fit perfectly as is. It's got a great slimming effect through the body and the sleeves are incredibly long! 

I splurged on this calf hair saddle bag from J Crew early in the season and it's proving to be a great statement maker and subtle dash of color against my neutral mainstays. It's not too big, not too small, and really well made. When I want to carry something luxurious, this is the bag I reach for.

This is a list of the berry stained pieces I have saved in my various online shopping carts. I want them all!!! But for now, I'll keep rocking my burgundy plaid and my burgundy saddle bag.
