There are few certainties in life, my friends: death, taxes, and going ape shit for fall layers when the October chillys set in.

I love love love breaking out my coats and jackets becauSe they're the easiest way to add a little interest to my standard fare of blue jeans and neutral basics. This windowpane number care of Dezzal is a beautiful addition my collection. Wearing it around town this weekend I really started to wonder why I don't have more plaids and patterns in my coat collection? And for that matter, why I don't have more colors and textures?!

Seriously though, I've been absolutely delighted at the quality, the accuracy of the size charts, and the design content coming out Dezzal's online boutique and this coat is no exception. They've got really cool pieces that speak to current trends in a super fashion-y upscale tone and though they're slightly more expensive than cheapies, they're giving a substantially higher quality garment. (I still love this oxford shirt I picked up from them a few months ago... it washed really well and fits my 5'11" frame like a dream.) Definitely cruise the site if you've got a hankering for something fresh and funky with a lot of lasting power.

These are a few of the others outerwear styles I'm kind of obsessed with at the moment. Loving these colors, textures, and patterns!
