Well, it's another questionable hair day and I'm rocking white Levi cutoffs... must mean summer's close! The humidity is insane this week. Rain, rain, rain... and the water has no where to go so it's just staying in the air. Makes for some interesting hair days to say the least.

Bet you thought my backward shirt from last week was a blip, right? Nope! I'm feelin' myself in this look! Best of all, it's a great way to reinvent last's years clothing. Today's outfit is nothing more than a simple poplin button down (a great little find from Forever 21), and my new favorite denim cutoffs. I'm not crazy about my legs so I kind of love the bermuda length I cut and old pair of Levis 501s to.

With summer literally breathing its steamy breath down my neck I'm obsessed with finding pieces that feel good in heat and humidity. This outfit works becasue A. IT'S WHITE, B. the shorts aren't too tight and they're perfectly worn in, and C. the poplin blouse has a lightweight crispness that stands off the body and lets the air through. Form and function, friends. Form and function.

Anyway! I hope you're all set to enjoy a beautiful Memorial weekend! Even if you're not traveling or doing anything terribly fabulous (like me) I think we're in for a beautiful preamble to my favorite season: SUMMER!
