The Vacation Outfit

Living landlocked means I always try to take my vacations somewhere beachy. I live for surf and sand, man!

After sorting through whatever bikinis, cutoffs, and cover-ups I'm taking, I pull together an outfit that's a little dressier for nice dinners and tour days. I hate wearing fussy clothing and having to think too hard about an outfit when I'm on vacation so I only pack simple pieces in pretty fabrics that are reliably cool and comfortable. A flowy shift dress belted with a vintage silk scarf is a great base. Throw on a big floppy hat, a leather tote and sandals, and the only things left to add are sunglasses and a few pieces of gold jewelry - The Vacation Outfit.
